hello. I am Gizmo...my mama's pride and joy. The sister of a friend of mama's found me wandering alone, cold and homeless and rescued me just before Christmas in 2002. She had too many mouths to feed already and her Rottweilers were playing with me too rough so she was forced to find a new home for me. She took me to her sisters house and left me there, but her sister had already spoken for a big Airdale so she couldnt keep me. That is how my mama was able to adopt me. I am especially glad that mama brought me home.

I had a big brother Boo Boo

that taught me many things, like how to go out to potty like a good boy and how to patiently wait for momma and daddy to come home from a trip. I looked up to my big brother and I am sure lucky to have known him, even though he has had to move on to rainbow bridge. After a long bout with cancer he has had to leave us, but he will forever be in our hearts.

Boo Boo told me that mama and daddy had a sweet little girl named Shelby

but she too has crossed over to Rainbow bridge. she was a good friend to Boo Boo and I know they are both sitting on the bridge together right now just like they used to sit together on the porch.

I have 1 brother who shares my house with me now. His name is Buddy, and he is older than me and was here before I came. My kind hearted mama had adopted him as a little brother for Boo and Shelby. Buddy is the only one of my canine siblings left here with me and mama and daddy.he is a pomeranian. Poor little buddy had been tossed from home to home, but now he finally has a good family to love him. here is a picture of my brother, Buddy when he still had both of his eyes.

Her name is Thumbsy

Thumbsy got that name 'cause she has wierd feet that look like boxing gloves or baseball mitts and has 6 toes on each foot!

Thumbsy loves me very much and I have adopted her as my sister too even though she is a very strange creature.

She does bug me sometimes though, she follows me everywhere rubbing all over me.

I put up with her though, because I feel sorry for her. I know she misses her niece Xena who used to live with us and was Thumbsy's best friend for all of her life. Thumbsy also was very close to Boo boo and since he has been gone I have tried to comfort her and make sure she knows that I love her too. here is a picture of Thumbsy (top) with her Niece and best friend Xena
