Sharon's Personal Scene

Hi, My name is Sharon Jagger. I'm an Artist.
I was born in Portland, Oregon, March 22, 1950

In 1956 my family moved to Boise Idaho. I attended all my school years in Boise. I graduated from Borah High in 1968, made Dean's list in College and graduated from Boise State University in 1972 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts w/Ed. Option.
As a child I took tap and ballet lessons, rollerskated (gold bar dance, freestyle & roller hockey). I was a Girlscout for 6 years, and played clarinet in school band. In Junior High I learned guitar and drums, sang in the choir, and started the long list of art classes. I was also a member of Job's Daughters and later joined Eastern Star, although I no longer attend meetings. (It is too uncomfortable sitting on those benches)
In my working career, I have done my share of the usual menial jobs an artist has to do to survive, but also have had pretty good success at working in my areas of study. I taught high school art and substituted in most all grades at one time or another. Among the art related jobs I have held are: Production Mgr. for several weekly newspapers, Typesetter, Portrait Photographer, Graphic Artist, & Sign Painter. From 1990 until 2003 I owned a small trailer park. Always in addition to all my other jobs I have also worked for myself as a seasonal & promotional window painter and muralist
I had 2 kids... a boy and a girl, both gone from my life

Since 1998 I have been living in Coeur d' alene doing window splash and murals and part time demo work ( handing out samples in stores), traveling by bike as much as possible, and making lots of friends online. I am active in the Roving Gamblers Motorcycle Club, which is one of the oldest clubs in the pacific northwest dating back to 1967. I have grown close to my little biker family and spend many hours and days riding with the club and socializing all year long.
Well... there is still much fun to have in life, and life is short *S* so I guess I better go have some fun!
