Annual campout for Roving Gamblers Labor Day Weekend Held at Outpost Resort on the Pend Orielle River a few miles south of Metylene Falls, Washington

a bunch of us went up early on Friday and set up camp at the Outpost Resort

On Saturday we went to Boundary Dam and Gardner Caves

This is the view of Metylene Falls from an overlook on the road to Boundary Dam

Boundary Dam provides almost all the power for Seattle and Spokane and is also the location of Bridge City from the movie "The Postman" with Kevin Kostner

We took a tour of the Hydroelectric Plant in the Dam ( it is FREE!)

This is the face of the dam where Bridge City was built for the movie..of course they had to remove it when the movie was finished.

After we visited the Dam we went up the road to Gardner Cave the tour is free and run by the forest service

the Craft Fair was also going on in Metylene Falls and we visited that on Sunday no pics of that this year to the bike barn
