In Memory of Nick
In Memory of my son Nicholas Anthony Gregor

October 25th 1974 - April 28th, 2009
Nicholas was born at St. Lukes Hospital in Boise, Idaho to Charles John Gregor and
Sharon Sue Gregor. He lived in Boise, Idaho most of his life other than his time in the navy and a few years in the Kitsap peninsula of Washington state. He attended South Jr. High, Borah High, & graduated from Capital high in Boise, Idaho in 1993 after which he joined the Navy and became a radio man. He was stationed on the USS Pelelieu out of San Diego and was also in the Indian Ocean during the time when they were bringing the Army out of Somalia in 1993-94. During this tour he got to visit Africa, Hawaii, Singapore, and parts of Australia.
While in the Navy he met the woman to be his wife Toni, and after his discharge from the navy married and settled down in Boise and held jobs as a file clerk and was at one time the supervisor for the mail room at Intermountain Gas. He became father to her two girls Ayla and Breanna, and in 1999 his daughter Cora was born. Nick enjoyed reading, playing video games, dirtbikes, 4 wheelers, camping and hotsprings, playing with his pets and family. He was a devoted father and husband for over 8 years at which time he was divorced and subsequently moved north to Coeur d' Alene, Idaho to be near his mother.
In the last years of his life he suffered greatly from chronic depression. Sadly after losing his job and recieving an eviction notice, he took his own life with a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head on April 28,2009. He could no longer face his life of lonliness and misery and faced with the prospect of again becoming homeless it was just the last straw. He is in the arms of the angels and his loving family who crossed over before him. May God in his infinite mercy give him the love and peace he could not get on this plane.
Nicholas is survived by his mother, Sharon Jagger of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, Charles Gregor of Walnut Creek, California, his estranged sister Sara York 31 of Spanaway, Wa. his daughter Cora Gregor 10, of Boise, Idaho, numerous other family members throughout the country.
In honor and memory of Nick and all the other people in this world suffering from depression and poverty, please consider donating to your local food bank or homeless shelter.
