First Night out, Finley Point Campground, Poulson, Montana
Boycott Finley Point Campground! The Ranger there is a crochety old ______ who doesn't like bikers. He tried his best to get us to go elsewhere, saying there was no room for 15 bikes.
He made the trailers park on the asphalt and the tenters were supposed to camp 100 yards away from the rest of the group in the gravel.
The Ranger came to camp 3 times before we all crashed to harass us about where we pitched our tent, and when we complied with his wishes he quickly thought of something else to harass us about.
At 9:30 our time (10:30 Montana time) we were told we had to shut up we were making too much noise.
there were only a half dozen of us talking quietly around the campfire.!
