Ode to the RGMC by Sharon Jagger
when I grow up
all I wanna be
is a bonafide member
of the RGMC
we'll plan all winter
for the rides we wanna do
then when spring comes rolling round
We'll gather up the crew
first we'll ride the Gambler bus
in the paddys day parade
then we'll head out on the road
for the Benton City raid
as the summer comes upon us
the sun will cast its rays
and we'll start our summer season
as we head for Gyro Daze
before a week is over
we'll pack our gear again
for our Bonners Ferry Doubler
with prizes you can win
every weekend, off we'll ride
to some exciting place
with friendship, love and brotherhood
then homeward we will race
some days we wont beat the rains
but then some days we will
down the valley... cross the plains
and up the wooded hill
July is getting warmer
camp gear again we pack
stew pots, food and coolers
for the stew and brew at Yaak!
in the summer heat of August
in the shade we long to hide
so we flip a coin, and off we go,
on our decide and ride
we dont end it there
we've still got things to do
benefits and halloween
the fall is busy too!
before we blink its Christmas time
and party season starts!
3 big bashes in a row
and we open up our hearts
we raise money for the clubs
and fill the money bin
Then we get to rest a bit
and start it all again!
